Saints are hot right now, nobody wants them apprently. People talk about dome teams, but I think the Saints can play in bad weather, they have a running game, Sproales (sp) is dangerous!
New Orleans went 8-0 in their dome, 5-3 away from it. Losing to such teams as the Rams and Bucs.
At home they averaged 41.1 ppg, allowing their opponents only 17.9.
On the road though it's a much different story...the Saints ppg average goes down to 27.25, their opponents goes up to 24.5..
Stats don't lie. The Saints are a much different team away from the Superdome..
definitely...2 weeks to prepare, and I think they match up well. Saints are a different team on the road. Hope for a nice light rain at gametime.
True but Saints are one of the hottest teams in the NFL right now. I hope the 49ers find a way to win. The rain will make it sloppy. Does that give 49ers advantage?
When you say it that way, it leads me to believe that you feel the Niners are not good enough to be hosting a divisional playoff game. It almost reeks of desprecy.

Well.... The Saints are a dome team, where as the Niners play right in the foggy bay.... What do you think?

We are good enough because we went 13-3 and Seed 2.
If the Defense is sharp and special teams comes up big then 49ers will win.

To tell you honestly, I'm not sure which game would (will) be more of a challenge for SF. Playing NO with Brees and their high powered offense in SF, or playing GB and their shoddy defense at Lambeau.

The Packers fans also are scared to play the Giants. Same fear.
I would like to see Giants come to 49ers for the NFC Title game.
