The only time the game was really exciting was the last minute, then it was the Larry Fitzgerald 'the savior show'. Carson made so many mistakes and nearly blew the game for the Cardinals.
If the Cardinals play the same game as tonight's B game then next week they may as well pack it in for the season. Whomever they play will be on their A+ game.
Congrats, what a game! I was surprised it was a close one, of course, would have preferred a different outcome but Cardinals won, came through in the end. Good luck!

I get the criticism of Palmer's picks. But he threw for 350 yards & 3 TDs. Not a bad day at the office.
I've mentioned this earlier in the thread, seems in contemporary NFL Fantasy fandom, if a QB doesn't throw for 500 yards with no picks, he's pessimistically perceived as having an off night.. dumb.
Cardinals struck me as a team that is very strong in talent but suffering from play-off nerves. Would not be surprised to see this hurt them next week. Congrats to the Cards for putting on an exciting show. Football fans got a heckuva show.
The refs sucked. Again. At least they sucked on both sides instead of deliberately handing the game over. The lack of a PI call when the Packers receiver was held and spun around in the end zone was quite the oversight.

Props to Arians & the Cards. peace.
I know we've seen this differently in the past but 350 yards on 41 passes, with s lot of them coming in OT on the broken pass/run by Fitz, just isn't that impressive. If the Cards don't get blind lucky on the tipped ball/TD near the end of regulation the storyline of this game was Palmer pulled an Andy Daulton.
But good lord what a ballgame, one of the wildest every. I was rooting for Arizona, they are my favorite team of those remaining and want them to win it all, but not so hard that I couldn't enjoy the Packers' miracle. Still can't believe they passed with over 2 minutes to go.
Upon further research, you and the refs are definitely correct. Ball never touched the ground. He didn't really have full possession, so to speak, but it's irrelevant as long as it didn't hit the ground. Wrong on my part.
Like you say, you got the outcome you wanted.
Having to fight through overtime to win only helps the Cards playoff nerves I would think. Besides that, I was happy for AARod in the effort, added excitement to the game.
Certain outcomes are never the ones the opposite fans wanted. I get it. I'm a homer fan as well. An Arizona Cardinal homer. I have my leanings. I have my biases. I have my picks, right or wrong. That's what makes us all who we are here in (what I believe is still) a free society America!
I'm currently 1-1 for this week's Divisional Playoffs: Chiefs let me down. Cardinals came through... after being mostly dormant for most of the game. Still... people will be unhappy. Me? I'm happy. I looked up at the final score!
However, now we'll be kicking the conversation back & forth over inadequate officials, coin "flips" or lack thereof, what the QBs did or didn't do, what the running game did or did not do, what receivers did or didn't do, offensive, defensive, & special teams problems, Hail Marys, Hail Larrys, etc, etc, et al. We'll hear it ALL.

in addition, palmer is still feeling the effects of the finger injury he suffered a while back. and even though his finger was taped differently this time, it still is affecting his throw, since it affects his grip on the ball.
