I just saw on Youtube his press conference after the game talking about sending his player to the showers.

This guy is awesome. Finally another coach who will not take any crap from players (especially the me me me wide receivers).

I love it! I remember watching him as a kid (I loved the Bears, even though I grew up in Cincy... who knows) and now that he's on the other side of the sideline it's great to see him so fired up... still! This morning on Mike & Mike, Ditka couldn't contain his pride. He literally was gushing & saying how it just took him back to the good ol' days.

Mike has gone back to the basics here. If you dont want it dont show up. Mike will be a great tough coach for years to come but knowing the 49ers management it wont be w/ SF.

I'm anxiously waiting for Mike to pimp slap a me talking wide out. Not sure if he's the right guy for the Bay Area locals. I would like him to be the next Vikings coach.

Gotta love that beady eyed monster, 20 years after the fact I bet he could still kick half the punks on that teams arses.

Singletary was so right about everything he said. That guy is a true old school leader. That franchise needs a tough SOB like him to set them straight. I agreed with everything he said and loved the way he said it.

X-Greensboro is right. I'm getting tired of players making humungous money thinking about themselves and not about the team. More coaches should do this. One of the commentators on ESPN (name escapes me) made a good point on Tuesday saying that things might have been festering between the two which caused the confrontation.

"Samurai" Mike putting the primadonna Vernon Davis in his place - I love it!! Not for nothing, but Vernon Davis had a great combine and has done NOTHING in the NFL. He may want to focus on his play rather than showing up his coach.

Singletary needs to have a talk with Al Sharpton over this Plaxico Buress nonsense.
