Depends on the subject.

I know jack dick about government, finance, sports, how to fix a car, religious doctrine, marriage, higher education, guns, pop culture, or why olive oil tastes nothing like olives. Anything I say about those will be stupid and should be ignored.

I know quite a bit about fiction writing, photography and graphic design, 20th century American history, current events and social trends, indie music, cites and urbanism, and... I think that's about it. My opinion probably carries a little more weight in those fields.

Just a little, though.

If only important = intelligent in this particular arena.

My opinions make sense to me and I can justify them. It's impossible to get someone to see your point-of-view on topics like abortion or same-sex marriage. I put myself in their shoes, and try to see where they're coming from.

It depends, I have omniscience, so my opinions are absolute fact

I try to ground what I think, but then I try to accept what others say also.

I give my opinions less often than I tell other people what is wrong with theirs. Truth can be evasive, but untruths jump right out at you, carrying billboards of logical fallacies.
