An old photo I took six years ago surfaced in my FB feed. It was my DH snoozing on a couch, and granddaughter lounging on his lap while sucking her fingers. She looked so content. Seeing that photo made me happy.

I love this......'or it finds me....'
So often for me, the most beautiful and joyous experiences are the mundane.....every day.....one has to be open to it....and I guess we are

I was at the store getting a few items and saw this huge pink teddy bear on sale so I bought it with the intention I would give it to one of the children at church but with covid, that hasn't been possible.

So there is a little girl who is about 7 who walks the family dog every night as I'm pulling in from work, I had the bear in my trunk and caller her over and gave it to her. She was so happy, she hugged that bear and had the biggest smile. Made my day!

Strawberry rhubarb pie, for sure! It doesn’t grow well here in the south, so I can hardly ever find it in the stores.
