Just bought a house in March that has all new (within 12 months) Samsung appliances. Was curious if anone has good aftermarket service contract companies that you've had great service with.
It appears Samsung will not add a contract to appliances if not purchased when the appliances were purchased.

I've heard of many bad experiences with little warranty service companies going out of business leaving their customers high and dry, or just not fulfilling their end of the deal when something breaks.
My dad in NJ got a warranty plan straight from his electric company for a reasonable price. I used to be his repair guy, but 1000 miles is a little far to drive
.
I'd look into FPL's plan and see if the price is competitive before handing cash to an unknown company.

If appliances have a manufacturing flaw it will usually show up within the warranty period.I don't do extended warranty services.

I was wondering the same. Our power company back in MN had a great program, $28/mo and covered repairs to W/D, stove, refr, DW and furnace/AC. The appliances were 15 yrs old and the monthly fee paid for itself many times over.
Not sure what we'll end up with for appliances. Looking at our first two homes tomorrow. In NP.
