Normally gas prices are as much as 10-15 cents cheaper away from the freeway. However, here it is the reverse. Along 41, Veterans, etc, gas prices are $3.14-$3.19 for regular, but out at Kings Highway and 75 they are $3.04, with one station charging $2.99 if you pay cash.

I use the
Pump Patrol map from one of Sarasota's news stations. You have to move the map down to our area when using it. There's a few places in PG that are under $3.00 now but good ol' PC is still up 20 cents. Go figure.

In Punta Gorda on Jones Loop Rd near I-75 the Sunoco, Pilot and Murphy (WalMart) stations all have gas at $2.97
Also the Sunoco at 41 and Burnt Store Rd is $2.97
The Shell at 41 and Aqui Esta is $2.99
These prices fluctuate often but you can follow it on here:
