Hey, all. I am looking for a handyman. As with any service company, you can get cheap bad service, expensive bad service, and reasonably priced good service. Thing is, you call someone on Craigslist or a number on a truck, you never know what you are getting. And don't get me started on Angie's List-big complaints and lack of returned calls from 'highly-rated service providers'.

The good ones are booked solid. Very hard to find for doing work on properties around here. Also, some won't return your calls because they are too busy and can't handle more work or your job may be too small or something they don't do. I have used Handy Vets - based in Cape Coral. They will come up to Punta Gorda and PC. I found them on Angie's list - they have an A rating with 175 reviews. I have found them to be very professional and reasonably priced. They train and employ honorably discharged veterans for Handyman and Construction type services and are a licensed general contractor.
