Firstly, hope everyone had a good Christmas and Happy New Year to all!

We will be arriving from our blustery home in CT to our place in PGI on New Years Eve morning. I’m soooo excited to come down. Especially as it is supposed to snow (again) here this weekend.

Anyone have any ideas for a good place to go New Years eve? We do like to hang at the Wyvern rooftop and I believe they are having a band that night so we may check that out.

I was also wondering if Fisherman’s Village is worth checking out? I saw something about fireworks at midnight.

We are ok with driving little further if someone has a better suggestion. But would be nice to stay closer to PGI area. I don’t know what its like here in Fla on New Years Eve but there are some crazy drivers in CT that night and I’m just as happy not to be on the road too much with them.

Mrsfly,
You did that last year. I haven't spent a New Years there yet, but look forward to soon. We still have strong traditions here in MD, so it may be a while. Let me know what you find - OK. I would check out River City - its always good, but I'm sure there are some other fun things going on.

Have you checked out the yatch club het? They are having some very good membership drive opportunities. I would bet that they have a nice party there. We are considering joining that when we come down.

Ok BH, now you've scared the heck out of me!! Am I more senile than I thought?? I didn't think we were there last new years?? But it wouldn't surprise me I guess, if someone had a better memory than me about what I did

To be honest this year is a bit of a blur. Right after we closed on our place I had surgery and then my father got really sick and passed away in October. So I really haven't been down to FLA but once since we closed.

But anyhow....here's hoping 2010 is better for all of us And I'm really excited to see our place and have some fun and put 2009 behind me. I will for sure let you know what we do!!

Huh?!? I must be confused - sorry. I remember someone that went to the party on the roof of the Wyvern last year for New Years and loved it. I thought since you brought it up that it was you. I'll be heading back down right after New Years! And. . . I can't wait!!!

If Mrs.Cool and I were down for NYE, we'd be at Harpoon Harry's They have two bands, Slick Willie and The Boogiemen (We saw the Boogiemen there when we were down over Thanksgiving, They were VERY GOOD!!)

They also have a Champagne toast with contests and prizes, party favors and fireworks. $25 a couple and it starts at 7:00...Mr.Cool
