I would suggest that the "IT" person do his own job search. "IT" is such a broad term. It could be the guy who installs desktops in the office all the way up to the guy writing code that runs the entire company.
The reason that I am doing the research is because in addition to being a husband and father(to 2 year old triplets and a 3 month old), he works full-time, is doing self study of a Linux program, trying to make improvements to his home for selling next year, has church responsibilities, etc
If I was in his shoes, I'd rather have a babysitter
