I would really love a word-of-mouth recommendation on hand surgeons at Duke, but I've only been here a few months and don't know anyone who has had hand surgery. Who is known as "the best" when it comes to hand surgery at Duke? I was looking at Dr. Goldner and Dr. Ruch. I've researched a lot and I know either one can do my surgery, but I'd really like to know the inside scoop on which one is known as the best and recommended more often. Hopefully someone on here has the inside scoop and can help me out!

Does it have to be Duke? My husband had surgery on his wrist a few years back. He used Dr. Post at Raleigh Hand. (Next door to Duke Raleigh Hospital.) He was excellent.
