Hello,

My girlfriend and I recently both got jobs in the Morrisville area on Louis Stephens Drive. We took this weekend and looked at apartments in the Brier Creek area and really like The Preserve at Brier Creek. Does any one have any comment, negative or positive about this complex? Also, does anyone know of any good apartments or townhouses that will have about a 15 minute or less commute to work on Louis Stephens Drive. We are looking for an apartment or townhouse with 1,000 sq ft - 1,500 sq ft and rent at or less than $1,200. We would also like the apartment to have nice appliances and a quiet area. Almost forgot, and pet friendly for a 25 pound dog. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Nick

Check out Colonial Grand at Arringdon on Page Rd. It's right off of I-40 (but it's a very quiet area) and about 10 mins from Brier Creek shopping. Colonial Grand at Arringdon | Morrisville, NC

Well, right down Davis there are plenty of places. You are looking toward Raleigh when there is plenty in Morrisville.

Grace Park apartments might be great for you--it's on Davis and Morrisville-Carpenter. I honestly don't know the rental rates but you can live walking distance to grocery shopping, pharmacies, and quite a few local (and some chain) restaurants--Thai, Chinese, Deli, Pizza/Italian....plus Starbucks, Dairy Queen, etc.

Bexley at Preston is excellent. It is off Morrisville Parkway and Chapel Hill Rd.

I don't know if it is in your target location range, but my sister and her husband live at Legends of Preston and they are the least soundproofed apartments I have ever stepped foot in. My sister has to wear ear plugs at night because the guy next door snores so loud and she can hear it right through the bedroom wall, and she can also hear when someone is urinating in the toilet. It's ridiculous. When we sit in her living room, we can hear the full conversations of the couple upstairs.

Chancery Village is at the corner of 55 and Kit Creek. I work at CS on Louis Stephens and I know quite a few coworkers also live at Chancery.
