People marvel at your accent and ask when you're from, and you're speaking with a Southern accent
The "old-time veterans" of the area who are doling out advice moved here six years ago

People in cars used to wave with five fingers, and now they only wave with one
You're terrified of going to Durham
There's a week during spring and a week during fall when you won't hear anyone complaining that the weather is going to kill them
Cary's border expands faster than you can out-drive it
