Our church offers ASL sign language interpreting for the deaf and hard of hearing. However, this week all our interpreters are out of town. So, either we'd like to find someone who can fill in or even encourage our deaf members to visit another church for the week.
Besides Connections Church, what other churches in Raleigh offer ASL interpreting of the church services?
The United Church of Chapel Hill, located at 1321 Martin Luther King Blvd, Chapel Hill, NC has ASL interpreted services at its 11:00 a.m. service. We welcome you to join us. Visit our website at: www.unitedchurch.org.
I know this is going to sound dumb, but don't pretty much all churches everywhere offer this service?
No. Professional interpreters are in limited supply, many of them want their weekends off, and they are not inexpensive to engage every week.
