I believe you could take cuttings off of existing plants if you have some.

It's too probably late to get many tomatoes off a small plant...unless you have a greenhouse or smthg

I feel like it's a bit late in the season to start these, however you could do the whole indoor/greenhouse thing I suppose.

I always get tomatoes until late October, but they slow down after Oct 1. I only do one planting, and they last all season.

Which variety of tomato are you planting, mine tend to die out by the first of August.

Sorry I can't tell you where to find plants.

I have had tomatoes plants give fruit to late Oct, 1st wk of Nov but this was one year and cherry toms. And these came from my spring planting. last year my tom plants didn't do as well, leaves turned yellow early yet when I'd given up on them and let them die off, i was still finding ripe tomatoes among them.

I am curious to hear how you can plant them now outside and not have the plants turn yellow and underproduce...tell us your secret

Have you tried the Raleigh Farmers' Market? Seems like I saw some there a week or so ago while I was looking for lavender.
