Also worth checking out is Martin's Curry. It's kind of a Indian Japanese fusion sort of thing, but much more towards the Indian side. He uses local, seasonal ingredients and it's worth signing up for his weekly newsletter to see what the specials will be.

I met this guy at Morrisville Farmer's Market couple of weeks ago. He had a food stall there. He was explaining his business model and sounded interesting
I tried "Vegetable Dumpling" and it was tasty but the price was a little too high ($2 for a small dumpling)
Martin's Curry is pretty good - the ingredients seem to be of good quality and there is nice variety. The only downside is that I find their sauces very salty. I eat a very low salt diet so I probably just taste it more, but it's worth mentioning in case anyone else is trying to avoid salt. Indian food isn't usually salty, so I'm not sure why his is. Maybe I will ask him sometime!
Tower India is the best. They have the most authentic cuisine - even my parents were impressed when they came over from India. We like it so much that we substitute Tower take outs for home-cooked food when we're not feeling up to cooking at home. Saffron is great for the occasion heavy meal. Chola Naad in Chapel Hill is by far the best for that special outing. Having lived in this area for close to 15 years, we've become very picky about Indian food and rarely patronize the other Indian restaurants.
