Ive just moved to raleigh from florida... mostly do saltwater fishing but now just fresh water fishing...
if any one has some tips on catching bass,catfish or crappy.. and or where to catch them or any good spots.. that would be awesome..
or even someone to go fishing with.,,

I see people fishing at Lake Wheeler (from bank and in boats), Yates Mill (from the boardwalk), and Lake Johnson (also from the boardwalk) all the time.

Bond Lake is good for catfish.

Kerr Lake is full of fish and about a 45 minute drive to the triangle.

Jordan Lake. Also, there is one spot on the Cary Park lake where the lady feeds the fish daily, if you find that spot its like catching fish in a barrel (no boats on that lake though).
