Who has them? Any suggestions. I thought I knew a place but it escapes me right now. Thanks!

Fish Tacos

Sauce for Fish Tacos:

1/2 cup plain yogurt
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 lime, juiced
1 jalapeno pepper, minced
1 teaspoon minced capers
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed
1 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper

Fish:

Cut fish into strips and wash with fresh water and pat dry. Dredge fish in flour seasoned with salt and pepper to give a light coating. Dip floured strips into an egg wash (2 eggs and 1/2-1c of milk, whisked well). Roll strips in breadcrumbs [(1/2 Progresson Italian breadcrumbs (costco) 1/2 Panko flakes (Japanese bread flakes)] until well coated and then drop in fryer until golden brown.

Ben's Place!

It's off of Glenwood/70 back behind the Car Max, you can see it from 70. The rest of the food there is ok but for some reason those fish tacos are fantastic IMHO. Not to mention they make a mean mojito!

I 2nd Ben's Place. I haven't been there in about a year, but I used to go a lot more before we had our son. The fish tacos are pretty good for this area.

I have heard that Chubby Taco at Lake Boone Shopping Center has good ones.
I have been meaning to try them there.

This is one of my favorite meals, so let us know when you find a great fish taco.

On The Border has decent ones but they are a bit plain.

I love the fish tacos at Los Cuates. And very reasonably priced. They have 2 locations - one on Old Wake Forest Road & one on Capital Blvd. I've only been to the Capital Blvd location. It has a drive-through.

Ah, I know a great place! Cafe Capistrano off of Durant has the best fish tacos. They use fresh mahi mahi and homemade sauce... man, could go for some right now!!

I really enjoyed the fish tacos at Bahama Breeze. I had them at On The Border and they were just so so. I'll have to look at some of the other places!
