We're from that area too, but are in New England now. I'd take Oregon rain over snow. .At least you don't have to shovel it off your driveway.

I have friends who want to know how can I move to the home of Jessie Helms. My response is "don't you mean the home of John Edwards"? That usually ends that discussion.

Yes, but Edwards couldn't even deliver this state when he ran for VP.
This state, & this area, is diverse. When I drive 5 minutes out of my subdivision I am in the REAL country, 30 minutes into Raleigh, a city.
Just like comparing residents of Nassau County, Putnam County, & NYC...
