I'm looking for any realtor on this board with considerable experience in Durham rentals to DM me and recommend rentals.
I'm looking to rent a single family home OR an apartment in a landlord occupied home as a single person. I will be a grad student at Duke this fall.
Features that are a must have
- it has to be quiet, suitable for studying
- no infestations of roaches or ants. I understand that bugs will be found occasionally, but no infestations. If landlord occupied, must be open to fumigating the property occasionally.
- needs airconditioning + heating
- within 5 - 10 minutes drive (with traffic) to Duke
- parking space for one car available
I would prefer looking at 2 bedrooms but 3 bedrooms would be fine too. Price range is flexible, but no ridiculous rents please. I will be visiting Durham and Duke in late April to look for rentals.
I tried doing a search before posting and I know that realtors are not allowed to advertise themselves directly but I think they are allowed to DM? I am new to this forum so forgive me if this is not the appropriate place to post such a thread!
