I've heard wonderful things about the Farmers Market. Can someone give me an idea if what you find is more expensive, less expensive or about the same as area grocery stores.

and I've also heard milk is expensive in the Raleigh area. Is this true? What does a gallon of milk cost? organic vs non-organic

thank you

The FM can be less expensive on many items (imo--not a whole lot), but, the quality is so much better. It's still worth the trip.

The State Farmers' Market is on Lake Wheeler Road, just off I-40, and south of Downtown.

Here's a website that gives the specific address of the market, a map, days and times, and even market prices.
