If you're like me, the building that's going up adjacent to CVS, in the Searstone development, with the sign "Are you Curious?"......well it had me wondering, so I looked it up online.

It's going to be a PDQ Restaurant "Fresh Tenders, Salads, Sandwiches"

Here's the link to the plans:

PDQ Restaurant At Searstone - 12-SP-021

They built one near my house (Falls of the Neuse Rd.). I've been once. It was pretty good, but nothing mind-blowingly spectacular.

Yup, it's a chain. Mainly in FL, one in SC. There's one on Falls of Neuse and their website says they will opening one in Wake Forest in June.

Feel lucky, in that part of Cary i think there are more local places than chains. (though maybe Cafe Caturra can't count anymore since they started expanding.)

PDQ is great.

Everything made fresh - no freezer or microwave on premises.

Fast service.

Try it when it's done. the one on Falls is top notch. Limited choices but all good.

The store at US1 and the 98 bypass in Wake Forest looks like it's nearly done. They'll probably be putting help wanted signs out soon. Never eaten in one, but I'm sure it'll be mobbed once it opens like Buffalo Brothers was. People here seem desperate for something different.
