Has anyone been in past years? Is it worth the $5 admission?

I haven't been, but it's probably like anything at the fairgrounds (such as the Greek festival) -- if you keep an open mind and want to see something a bit different, I'm sure it'll be fun. Looks like there will be some yummy food offerings, and a Google image search shows traditional Chinese dancing.

It's $8 at the door and $5 online in advance according to the N&O:

Yea, that's the big question. Weather could keep me away. It's supposed to warm up tomorrow to high 40's. That might get rid of all the ice. My partner is Chinese and we might enjoy it.

Yeah in curious since I don't know anyone who has gone to this and I usually know at least one person lol. If its overpriced food and ho hum entertainment I don't know if it's worth braving the roads. Could always go to 35 Chinese instead I guess!

I didn't go, unfortunately my dog's injured toe required her in the cone and I didn't trust her to squirm out of it when she's alone. Next year! Sounds great.
