Great! That will deliver some light into that shopping center.

I like that Carolina Pottery bought the building. Commitment!

Checked out the businesses in that area and was surprised to see Unaabi Grill. I'd read that the Unaabi Grill had out of this world Mediterranean/Persian food. Now I know where it is. Strange that I don't recall ever seeing the sign driving by.

Glad Carolina Pottery is moving into the old KMart, which always had sort of a down-on-its-luck feel to me. I was only inside a few times. Prices, quality, and lighting were better at Target, so never went back.

Shopped at Food Lion for a time. Great butcher. Small but well-stocked produce dept. But I tired of the pressure to go through the self-checkout lines. One of the employees was particularly persistent about this. I don't want to take jobs away from people and she never seemed to get this.

Besides, once I do the work of the cashier, will I be expected to assist with the stocking of canned goods as well? Straighten the produce? Where will it all end?

Also, not a fan of the music playing in the background. I don't speak Spanish, so couldn't understand the lyrics.

That is a good place for it actually. Sounds like a good deal all around as that shopping center was always a bit behind some of the new development and the KMart closing is a big hole to fill.

Unaabi used to serve just Afghan food, but they added Mediterranean at some point. I really like their vegetarian Afghan dishes and need to eat there more often!

Glad to see something taking over the Kmart spot. That shopping center has always been a bit dead!

I may be wrong, but I think Unaabi May have closed down recently. There's a for lease sign and no cars have been there at all (I have to drive by several times a day).
