Interesting article about many of Raleigh's downtown street names, with historical maps. Despite those who believe Raleigh sprung up in the 1990s or so solely for the purpose of housing transplants, it actually had a rich history for centuries before IBM heard of it!

That's interesting. I had recognized some of these names as nearby communities but never realized they were the eight judicial districts.
