Greybridge,

I am also looking to relocate from Fl and it seems like Clayton is a nice area. I was wondering If Clayton has the need for another Pizza Place. I am trying to find a Nice town where I can live and open up a pizzeria.

Hi PaulyD,

As far as I know there is only one "real" pizza place in Clayton. There is a Pizza Hut, a Papa John's, and a Domino's, but they don't count. Venero's is the place I'm talking about and it is in the city limits of Clayton. I don't think there is a pizza place of any kind in the Flowers area so that might definitely be something for you to look into!

I think Clayton would be a GREAT place for you to open up a pizza place!!! Especially in the 42/70 area!!! We were just there last weekend and checked out the area (we're from FL too!) Good luck and i can't wait to try your new pizza!!!

I'm guessing about 3 to 4 hours, but that is just a "guesstimate."

Pauly...it is State Road 42 and Highway 70 intersection...Hwy 70 is where a lot of shops are etc because there are parts to Clayton that are quite rural, but that area is really growing and we love it there! Just make sure you have a handy map when you get there (try the chamber). What part of FL are you from???

NK....Wellington,Fl. It takes 3 to 4 hours to get there from Mooresville is that right. I would of thought it would be 1 to 2 hours the most.

Well from looking at a map, I would say it is probably in that range, depending on traffic. But like I said, that is just an estimate.

When we drove from Charlotte to Raleigh it took 2.5 hours. I know Mooresville is near Charlotte.
