There was another report of a guy in Johnston County that got the upgrade last week. I'm sure there are quite a few, but they probably dont post to the forums like we do.

Just had TW Extreme (30/5) installed today to replace my old clearwire connection (12/1) that is being discontinued in November.

Just did Speedtest, got 36/6. Installer said that I should be getting Maxx speeds right out of the gate, doesn't seem so.

I am getting 62/6.2 pretty consistently tonight which is more then I usually get 55/5.5. This is after a fresh reboot of the 8x4 modem provided with the signature home package.

Some additional folks may get bumped up tonight as it seems they do their change management activities on Tuesday nights. We shall see!

On DSL Reports, a July 15 date is mentioned for when Raleigh gets Maxx.

DOH! I rebooted my modem earlier this morning but got tied up getting ready to leave for work and didnt run my speedtest. Will do later tonight. The above po0ster is correct that the date of July 15 has been repeated from numerous sources so if you werent part of the early phases it looks like next week may be our time.

ETA - It looks like those few folks who reported they had MAXX speeds in Wake Forest and elsewhere were switched back to their previous tiers overnight so they may have been part of a test in preperation for next week. Heres to hoping!
