You will hear the railroad there, but not like the folks in Madison Oaks and Carrousel Park do.
The entrance between the vacant building, the self storage and tire shop isn't terribly appealing.

If you like the Standard Pacific product, I would lean towards Collins Grove.

Town House. Standard real estate jargon.

BTW, one can hear a train whistle 3 miles away, but not other train noise or vibrations. At that distance, I did not mind the noise.

Just remember: storage facilities, as well as manufacturing facilities, etc. are usually built where land is fairly inexpensive. Inexpensive for a reason: noise, smell, easy access to main roads, etc. Just fly into or out of any airport and what do you see immediately around them? Storage facilities, warehouses, manufacturing, industrial parks. That's for a reason.

Not to eliminate your place in question: just something to think about if renting--but especially buying.

It's not in a really great location. Do you have a realtor? It sounds like you need one.

Certainly not the most appealing entrance to a neighborhood, but I actually like the location, particularly if you can get one not abutting or right across the street from the self-storage facility. Got a little bit of distance from the railroad tracks, and the closest whistles would be for Harrison crossing. Backs right up to the greenway. Good proximity to Kroger and other retail at High House, James Jackson, etc.

But yes, you need a realtor.

Agree. I should have clarified. The area is good. The precise plat of land and adjacent buildings? Not appealing.

How about location of unit?
END UNIT or unit in the middle?
Oviously more expensive for the end unit..
Resale value and easy to sell for end unit??
Worth to pay the $7000 premium for the end unit?
