Hi Everyone! Does anyone know of inexpensive track out camps or programs. Our son is on track 4 and need to line something up. I was shocked to hear the YMCA is $200 a week! He is in fourth grade.

Thank You!

Where do you live? We've done science camps, sports camps, lego camps, musart camp, town of cary/apex camps, jumpzone camps...lots of options. But yes, they are all in the $150+/wk range. Town of Cary and Town of APex camps were the least expensive.

I did a lot of checking around for my son before he started kindergarten this year and we went with the YMCA. Most of the programs are around the same cost, but with the YMCA you can drop them off at their school in the morning and then they will bus them back to the school so that they can take the school bus home. It's much more convenient than most other programs. Plus, he absolutely loves it!

Forgot to add that special camps show up from time to time and they're worth the extra money. My son, also 4th grade track 4, did a video game programming camp last trackout. He loved it. It was introductory and geared for his age.
