Hi,

Do you have any recommendations on where to shop for the home-office furniture, please? Our home-office needs update, and I'd be happy to look at the local office-furniture shops (not Staples, OfficeMax). Nothing too complicated, just need quality desk, bookshelves, chairs, etc. - private home office.

Thank you very much for advice and recommendations.

Cheers,

You might take a look at off-lease stuff at Storr. I think it is Storr, on the west side of Capitol Blvd, Inside the Beltline.

We just outfitted our home office with items from DAK's office supply. They carry both used and new office furniture. Some great stuff-like new Herman Miller chair for $195 and a two-drawer letter HON filing cabinet for $20. It took about 40 minutes to get there from Cary. check out State Surplus - Chapel Hill Road (between I-40 and Hillsborough St). They have stuff changing weekly - desks, cabinets, chairs, all kinds of different stuff. Most is VERY cheap.
