Who keeps posting these neon yellow signs on the telephone poles on the side of Capital Blvd going into Wake Forest? Signs like "Jesus is coming" and "Call on Jesus". I even saw one the other day that said "Jesus is alsome". How do they get them so high? And more importantly how can this be stopped? I don't want to be one of those "oh I'm so offended" people but... I mean come on, this is practically litter. And what about all the scores of people like me who aren't Christian who don't necessarily want to be preached to every day going to and from work? This has been going on for at *least* a year now.
as a lifelong NC resident, I rarely notice them. I'm not out there looking for things to be offended by though.
But I would assume they're from a denomination that truly believes in "spreading the Word" or widely-evangelizing, in which case they believe they're called to do such things.
To each his own although a Donald Trump sign might cause my BP to rise for a minute or two lol. Let's save this stuff for the Christmas (er, HOLIDAY) Season where everyone goes batty with the issues of public religious displays.
You think that's bad, imagine being woken up with a call to prayer blasted across the campus at Duke.
