Well it's late now...but the Wisconsin Cheese Stand has the best ones.....and this year they had the brilliant concept that more of the popular food stands needs to come up with...you pay at the register, get a poker chip with what you ordered on it, and then wait in line to pick up as they roll out all of the stuff they have. Makes the line move waaaaay faster and keeps people happier. That was the only place I went to (ended up getting food from 5 different place last night!!) that used that system and it was by far the most efficient.
It was crazy, nobody knew where that stand was that we asked and I'm talking about Fair employees. We ended up spotting it from overhead accidentally when we were coming back on the Skyway ride. By then we had eaten so much we were done with food, lol.
Oh well, next year I suppose. I also sent a message to the Fair social media staff to bring back the "search for food" functionality of their mobile applications. The app was basically pointless as it only let you search by specific vendor and not all vendors were listed. They messaged me back a thanks for the feedback.

Agreed that would be incredibly helpful and seems like a no-brianer. I got lucky and we passed by that stand within 10 minutes of walking in.
It's crazy because the fairgrounds really isn't THAT big of an area land-wise...but they pack so much into it for the State Fair that it's pretty easy to get lost/disoriented when trying to navigate.

I don't know why they took that feature out of the app. It was the best thing in there! You could look up whatever you wanted, get the location, and then compare to your gps.
You're not old. Your lifestyle might be a bit aged (in a stereotypical sense), however.
