Anyone know of a place that sells and installs watch batteries at a reasonable price? I remember getting them for a few dollars not long ago. Now everybody wants $20 +. I'm not spending $20 on a watch battery for a cheap $25 dollar watch.

I've taken to doing it myself...It's actually pretty easy. Get the batteries at any CVS, Walmart, etc.

I wear Timex. When the battery dies I chunk them out the window and buy another watch. They're scratched all up by that time anyway. It's just not worth it to me to replace the battery.

Batteries and Bulbs is reasonable.

Be advised that Casio digital watches can normally only be fixed by Casio. Despite the instructions, they never start properly after battery change.

One of the watch kiosks in Crabtree installs batteries at an affordable price and will even pressure test dive watches after an install. I wasn't charged any extra for this service. Most places do charge more.

I can promise you can find the batteries on amazon or ebay for 1/2 or 1/3rd the price you will pay in a brick and mortar store.

Yep. Used those guys for years at CTC, until Sears there closed.

Heart Throb had a battery installed a few months ago at the No Name jewelry joint across from the Belks entrance inside the mall.
Easy, reasonable, and quick.
