Note: Mark November 14 on your calendar, because a rare super moon will be arriving.

The moon will appear up to 14-percent bigger and 30-percent brighter when it makes its closest pass to the earth at 6:22 a.m. Monday. The moon won’t be this close again until 2034.

My question is does anyone know a good location that I can capture this amazing show around Raleigh, Cary area ?

Thank you in advance!!

From anywhere actually. The moon is quite bright even under street lights.

Sadly, the weather makes this a moot point.

Definitely the sky.

I know it's too late now, so apologies for that, but I rode my bike to work today, and got several great views of it. Generally speaking, look to the West. What was really cool is that my ride started in the dark, the moon was a bit higher (so smaller) but bright, and still relatively big, and detailed. It was great. As the ride progressed (it takes about 1:15 to get here) the moon got lower and bigger, but dipped into the fog, or as another thread might call it, the Morning Dew. Just made for a lot of nice views to pass the time on the way into work.
