alternatives to public schools? (Durham: elementary school, price, area)

aside from magnet and charter schools, and schools affiliated with religion, are there any other elementary school options? i know about the waldorf school and carolina friends school and i love them both but unfortunately, they are too expensive for us. am i missing any other options??? thanks.

What area are you looking in? What are you looking to spend??

There's Durham Academy, the Duke School, and Camelot Academy in Durham, but if Waldorf and Friends are too pricey, these probably won't be any nicer to your wallet.
