A lot of people are up in arms over the Cave closing. I think there's a window for something to happen there to keep it going.

Over the last 6 months we’ve tried to sell the business, hoping to find a a group of people who would carry on The Cave’s spirit and history but breathe the needed new life into it as well. Unfortunately, as of this past Monday it became clear that this would not likely be an option and that it is unlikely that the building owner would lease the space to another group wanting to continue as The Cave.

Word on the street is that something is in the works to save The Cave. Don't know more than that now, but I know some of the folks who are working on it and they are people who can make things happen.

Got my ear to the ground over here in Chapel Thrill . Actually I'm usually not that clued in and I thought this might be it for The Cave, too, but in this case the folks working behind the scenes were able to pull it off.
