The person who posted about it doesn't mention anything about a customer getting wet (or even that the glasses had anything in them). Just that "We got to see a waitress drop a glass". But again, if it happened to me (and it has), I would rate them on they handled it. If someone dropped a drink on me and said Sorry, and walked away, that is bad service and I'd ding them.
If they dropped a drink on me, if it was clearly by accident and not due to negligence, and they were concerned, ran and got me a towel, cleaned up our table and replaced the salad that got wet, then sent out the manager to make sure I was OK and comp'd my drink, I'd probably conclude they made a mistake, it didn't happen often, and they know how to deal with it.
To quote Miles Davis: "It's not the note you play that's the wrong note - it's the note you play afterwards that makes it right or wrong."
Anyway, as I said, I definitely think Service is relevant. A mistake is a mistake. How one handles it is what I would review in that case. Just me...
It was a tray full of glasses!!
Of course, how would we know whether the person was going to leave a review, or not?

I was responding to your suggestion that they should be ding'd.... Anyway, all of this is off topic. Some people down-rate restaurants for an employee dropping a tray of glasses, some don't. That is (as I said) why I don't just rely on the number of reviews, but I read a good sampling of the reviews to get a 'feel' for what kind of place it is.
I'll even go to a few places with known quirky or slow service if I like the food enough, but I'm selective as to when I go. (eg: Not before a movie that starts at a certain time.)
Same owners! We visited form NY and only had one night free for dinner , and tried Bida Manda.’ We LOVED it so much. The food was great, our waiter knew the menu, the atmosphere was perfect for us. Fun while still being low key. We are moving next week to Cary and can’t wait to go back to this restaurant and to try out the brewery. It’s hard for us picky eaters to find great restaurants. To Add: glasses have been dropped in the highest end of restaurants , doesn’t seem like a big deal to me.
We love Brewery Bhavana although loved it more when they first opened and you could more easily get a table. Sigh. But, seriously, they have the all-time best banana cake ever (made by Common Kin). Not to be missed.
I just tried to get a reservation at Brewery Bhavana. Even a month away I couldn't get the time I wanted. Is was pretty much the same as with Bida Manda.
