Where can I find a website of develpments so that I can actually see the inside of the home? I have found developer sites that only give floor plans.

Also all the developers I found on the web prices start at 300k's and higher I need more of a $200k-220k range. Does anyone know of a development that is in that price range that has gotten good reviews??

Are you looking for a smaller custom builder or a national builder? If the latter I know you can go onto many of their web sites and look homes up in your price range by state/town. Many of them will give virtual tours of their models. Pulte, centex, Lennar, Richmond American, New Orleans homebuilders to name a few all do this.

Thanks. I don't care what size builder they are as long as they are good.

This website is a good resource, though it's by no means a complete list of builders.

http://www.americanhomeguides.com/ahg_states.html

in addition, I usually just go to specific builders' websites and look for developments in the state.

CJ...
Your posts indicate that you need an agent before you meet a builder's rep who is paid to pluck you.
Think real hard about making contact and engaging a real estate agent.
Seriously.
There are several here showing good experience working new construction.
I'm not promoting myself. Not at all. I'm just reading your posts.

Mike,

Yes I will contact a real estate agent for sure. I just wanted to start looking to see what I am interested in. I want to have a basic idea so that I can describe to the realtor what I am looking for as opposed to just driving around looking at homes.

Thanks for your input - it is appreciated.

If you are interested in a small, high quality custom builder I have the name of a really good one. He builds on a cost plus percentage basis. If you want more info. pm me and I'll get it to you.
