Any information about living in Fuquay-Varina for newcomer?
Hello All...before posting I've taken some time to read many of your posts about the triangle area. My husband and I are moving to the area in the spring with our 9 month old baby girl to be closer to family. I'm familiar with Garner, north Raleigh and areas near Cameron village b/c I have family there--however, can anyone tell me about Fuquay-Varina? We are looking for an affordable home to purchase < $130,000 w/in driving distance to Raleigh, should we want to go to specific restaurants, galleries, museums, etc....my husband is an artist and I am currently staying home with our daughter. We are open-minded people interested in living in a quaint area, with mom & pops stores/restaurants to frequent when not in the city...does Fuquay offer this? I would love to hear about this area as well as any other suggestions....we aren't interested in Durham and don't want to live in an area so rural that we have to drive into the city to shop....Thanks

You would ahve received a response quicker if you had posted in the Raleigh Metro Forum.
Fuquay might please you. I think you might be able to find a single family home < $130,000. There has been great growth, like the rest of Wake County.
