We have been house hunting again and was looking at the Southern Oaks Developement. Are there alot of foreclosures in the neighborhood? Is it a fairly trouble free area? How are the kids in the neighborhood? Any big issues with the houses after being build in there as I know going through the process is sometimes not so good but it can be? Any info is very helpful.

We just moved into the neighborhood there and so far we LOVE it. We feel very safe and comfortable in the neighborhood. The houses are well built and for a great price. We did have some issues with the plumbing but the contractor was there within 12 hours to fix it. Be careful though because there are two builder communities in the same development so stop by the sales office. Also if you do by from the builder they do want full price but that is a great negotiation feature. “yes we will pay full price but we want this”
