Can anyone recommend a neighborhood in the Triangle with Williamsburg style homes?

I grew up in Farren Forest off the Cary Parkway which was modeled after Williamsburg style homes and colors. Nice mature lots and houses 1800-3000 plus sq ft.

Williamsburg(h) Commons off Kildaire Farm Road across from Lochmere in Cary.
Actually won William Poole recognition for authentic Williamsburg reproduction

This. We lived very close to there when we lived in Lochmere years ago. We used to always take walks through there because it was so cool. VERY authentic colonial architecture, cobblestone walkways, clapboard roofs etc. Definitely a little tight packed with limited parking space and small yards but that is probably what you are already expecting. When we first bought our lot in Lochmere to build our house, we drove through Williamsburg Commons and I had to convince my wife it wasn't actually a 1700s settlement

This ^^^ is probably the best!

There are other n'hoods in the area that look very much like Williamsburg homes, as that is what we did back in the late '80s and '90s. Many of the 2 story colonials in the area used Williamsburg colors.

N'hoods like Crosswinds and Stonehenge have many of the colonials and 1.5 story cape cods.

Woodcroft in Durham has primarily Colonials and Cape Codes, if that's what you have in mind. Lots of mature trees and good size yards, too.
