It probably is....that is just the local traditional hotdog here. They aren't our favorites (we prefer Hewbrew National if we have a processed hotdog) but really...the won't hurt you in moderation.

Guess it just depends what you are looking for.
I am always looking to see what's new. I love new and it hadn't gotten to far in the areas I noticed last time through. But I didn't see everything for sure. Looks like I have a road trip ahead of me. I am looking forward to checking out your fine town.

Wake Forest is a small town in a big way! It offers the small town feel and look and allot of things to do. Take for instance the Factory facility! One can work out via the YMCA, hit a baseball, softball, soccer ball, shoot a basketball, shop, eat, run, jog, skate board, and ice skate year round......yeat round! One can take a trip back in time by just going down the Wake Forest main street or as the street is named, White Street. There are many parks including a fenced in Dog park. Easy access to many highways in all directions. Even has a library!

So as you can tell I am sold on Wake Forest so if you get a chance come and check it out. You may test out a hot fog or two to see what's inside or you may pass and just hit up any other eating establishments! Its your choice!

I am a bit disappointed that the library expansion has been put on hold though. I understand why, and I think is shows good financial thinking on our town commissioners part to post pone it...but still...a tad disappointed, but that is why they have online requesting of books from the main branch!

Its OK it will happen eventually! Just like it takes time to read and absorb a book it takes time to plan, finance, and move a whole bunch of books!

If you zip by in the car, there is not much...
to appreciate it, get out & walk around... try the coffee shop, go shopping.... There are tons of events for such a small downtown.
For example, tomorrow night is First Light Wake Forest... lots of free activities for kids until 9, then entertainment for the adults until midnight, followed by fireworks.

it is very quaint yet "happening" and I am glad to live here.
