We are looking at the Village of Rollsville Homes from Lennar. Can anyone give us any "inside" info, or comment on them and the area in general? What schools our kids would go to, etc

Thumbs up or down??

Also, we are considering renting in Caveness Apartments..Are they nearby the Village of Rolesville?

Commute not an issue

Thanks to all!

I like the village of rolesville, nice homes, nice area, definitely up and coming. Rolesville doesn't have a huge downtown area, but I am sure it will continue to grow. It is very close to wake forest which would give you all of the "things" you would need (home depot, lowe's target, etc) Out toward rolesville they are in the process of building a harris teeter grocery store and a lowe's grocery store. Behind the harris teeter there will be townhomes as well. Rolesville is also close to heritage in wake forest, which has a grocery store.

Caveness farms is in the process of having A LOT of building going on! The whole area where the apartments are is turning into shops and restaurants. Yesterday the local paper (the wake weekly) said three new restaurants are going in at that location (chili's, texas roadhouse and one other). So, I don't know how much construction will affect the apartments. They are located about 11 miles from the village of rolesville.

The village of rolesville has lennar homes and st. lawrence homes. St. lawrence is a local builder (the owner lives off of six forks road) who has some properties outside of north carolina. I have been impressed with both builders, although I am partial to st. lawrence because i know the owner.

I think the development is very nice and it would be a good choice for you. PM me if you have more questions.

Leigh

The Village at Rolesville also has David Weekly homes. I know someone who bought there - a beautiful home. They love it. It's very nicely designed, is big house, but even so it has good space utilization. The builder was very easy to work with. Check out their model home at 606 Ashbrittle. It's immediately to the left after you pass through the front gate.

Lennar homes out there right now has an awesome price on one of their models. You get all the bells and whistles with that one. You have to like their paint job though. One of the smaller bedrooms has I'm a little teapot painted all over the walls. So Cute!

I like Rolesville. It reminds me a bit of Holly Springs. Both areas are rural and becoming more developed as time goes on. There are quite a few new and newer neighborhoods popping up out there.

I had clients who rented at Caveness Farms for about 4 months. The apts. were well maintenaned but this was about 2 years ago. They are located off Capital Blvd., right before you get into Wake Forest.

Oak Park is a neighborhood off Glenwood Ave. and Duraleigh in North Raleigh, close to the airport.

Willow Crest is another community out that way off West Young Street. Perry Builders and Jordan Built homes have some very nice homes out there. Some of the lots are quite barren, but they have one lot available that I loved. It backs up to a pond that has alot of birds flying around, and alot of trees left in the back. When the leaves come back that will be the best lot out there. It has alot of upgrades in the home, because whoever bought that, the deal fell through for them. The tax out there is 1.119 per $100 assessed value. They are building an awesome pool and rec. area out there that will be available 2008. An elementary is going up in the community as well. Just another thought for people wanting the Rolesville area.

I have been looking at Villages of Rolesville for 8 months now and I have seen good amount of changes in the area. All good changes! Looks like the town is on the cusp of breaking into a bustling neighborhood.

Check out Willow Crest in Rolesville if you are looking in Rolesville. My wife and I looked in the village because where I work did the site work, but the subdivision was a little to track home and cheap for us.

Willow Crest is all spec homes so you can do alot of customization without alot of money.
