RALEIGH CONCERT TONIGHT AT RBC CENTER RESCHEDULED FOR TOMORROW, JANUARY 21, 2009 @ 8:00PM
RALEIGH, NC – January 20, 2009 – Due to the state of emergency declared today by Governor Perdue, Celine Dion has been forced to postpone her concert originally scheduled for tonight, January 20, until tomorrow, January 21.
Officials have announced that road conditions will be extremely hazardous during the afternoon and evening, so this decision was made in order to avoid dangerous driving conditions for the fans, and to ensure their safety.
Tickets for tonight’s concert will be honored at the new concert date. Fans unable to attend the rescheduled concert can obtain a refund at their original point of purchase.
It's a shame for those ticketholders who bought their tickets months ago who cannot go tomorrow and will have to miss it. Here in Chapel Hill the sky is blue and the sun is out and it's only 2:20 p.m. I have a feeling the state of emergency will be over pretty soon.

Nah. People panic here for stuff like this. The low is 18 tonight. The roads are going to freeze again soon.
*Months ago?? I bought our tickets in 2007!! ) We were all sitting here dressed and ready to brave the roads to go! Of course, we just moved here from Colorado so this really isn't a big deal to us snow wise.
I am glad we will be able to make the concert tomorrow night!!
