I am an international student looking for a good community college around Raleigh-Durham area.That has a summer intake for 2009 for the major in nursing.Also any college with many scholarship opportunities will be appreciated!

Wake tech will get you up as far as an AA degree and it is cheap too. Real cheap, like $600 a semester. They have a fairly good reputation.

International students pay much, much more unless they have established residency.

Watts nursing school in Durham provides tuition reimbursement if the student works at specific hospitals for specific lengths of time after graduation. I assume residency is most likely a requirement, too.

Wake Tech has a 1 1/2 yr wait list and you must finish your non clinicals and get your CNA before starting in the program.

Unless you are a UNC employee (small exception in the law). But yeah I'm taking classes at durham tech and the resident rate is $42 per credit hour plus some small fees (really small), whereas non-resident is much much higher (about $225 per credit hour)
