Raleigh comes in at fifth on a US News and World Report list of Most Sober Metro Areas with approximately 97.2% of the population not drinking heavily. I guess they didn't poll the crowd at Big Boss Beer or The Carolina Brewing Co.

America's Top 10 Most Sober Cities

I hade no idea we were a bunch of tea totallers!

I have a hard time believing that poll... If you ask people if they drink "heavily", are they really going to say yes??? I know from experience working in trauma units and ERs, that almost everybody who comes in after a crash involving alcohol has always had.... "2 beers"... fortunately for us, a blood alcohol level tells us the actual "# of beers/drinks" in a persons system..... Interesting thing to survey though, and the picture is hilarious!!!
