A quick plea for help and a warning all in one post!

First, I have a table that has a self-storing leaf. Basically it folds up and stores underneath while the table closes up over the top of it. I bought it a year ago in November from Room Store and never had an issues until last week. I closed it up to do some cleaning and it got stuck. Nothing could get it open. I've gotten my dad to help me open it, but it's off kilter now, so I'll need someone to come take a look at it. I think that something may be wrond with one or both of the tracks that the table slides together on, but I'm not entirely sure. If anyone could recommend a good furniture repair place that will come do the work in-home, or a handyman, that would be fabulous.

Now, for the warning. I called Room Store this morning, knowing that I'd have to pay for service, since my one year warranty was up. The store gave me a customer service number. CS told me that there are no Room Store techs in this area (4 stores, no techs) and gave me number to the place they use. I called them and was told they only do warranty work, that they couldn't help me. So, if you buy from Room Store in the Triangle area, be prepared to get jack from them after a year!

Oooh thanks aaronv!

I have a beautiful antique mahogany Duncan Phyfe table that sags/tilts to one side when opened and it requires a furniture professional to fix, which I have not done yet, despite owning the table for 3 years. I'm going to see if Lester's can help me with this.
