Park district activities in North Raleigh/WF area (Wake Forest: relocating, lessons)

We are relocating from Chicago (skokie) and all activities, sports related and other various kids-stuff is all handled thru the Skokie PArk District or XXX-park district, whichever township you are in here.

How does t his work in North Raleigh or Wake Forest area? Who handles the little league sports, the art classes, easter hunts and so forth.

Wake Forest has a parks and rec department. There are also plenty of independant sports leagues (something new to me when we moved, as we didn't have that where I was from) and places that have other lessons (art and otherwise).

North Raleigh is part of Raleigh (it's not a seperate city) so those things are handled by the Raleigh Parks and Rec.
