I often find that UNC TV (http://www.unctv.org/index1.shtml - broken link) is a great way to find out cool things about the Traingle area and NC in general. Tonight I saw a neat episode of "Our State" about a flower farm located just outside of Rocky Mount that is operated by a man who use to live in Raleigh. Now he and his wife and son operate the family farm. Pretty cool stuff. Watching these video will get you in the mood to start planting those spring flowers.

You can watch the Fishing Creek Flower Farm episode here: UNC-TV ONLINE: Fishing Creek Flower Farm

Here is another episode about a famous garden in Chapel Hill: UNC-TV: Sister's Chapel Hill Garden

I viewed the flower farm story. What a beautiful story! Thanks for posting this! I used to work for PBS elsewhere. The video didn't make me want to plant flowers; it made me want to do produce stories!

NRG, do you read Our State magazine? You'll find even more cool stuff in there.

I love the many channels of UNC-TV! I've learned so much about this state from watching their programming. It has helped me plan many weekend getaways, too.
