They called me for an interview, because they saw my resume on Careerbuilder. Are they legit?
Those guys have a zillion job ads on multiple job boards. All of them are pretty vague. Most just state how they are a premiere marketing firm working with sports teams and fortune 500 companies. Absolutely no details listed about the actual position, responsibilities, skills needed, or compensation.
However, you can't find a company website for this marketing firm doing a Google search.....Not a good sign if they are supposed to be a real marketing company.
I wouldn't waste your time. My husband got suckered into one of those ads (not sure of the exact company name, but same ad wording) when we first move here. They were quite vague in the interview, but called him that day to tell him they wanted him to come in for a half a day the next day to shadow. He was psyched thinking he was up for a great position. He ended up spending the day with the guy going door to door in Dunn selling Papa John's pizza coupons.

bluej, what did you think? are they legit? i went in for an interview today and they told be to go in for the day to see what they do. i thought they seemed ok in the interview, but i don't want to waste my time going in if it is not a legitimate marketing company. thanks.
If i am not mistaken, I think these are the people that travel around to different businesses & malls selling The Entertainment Book (coupons) and the Subway meal deal cards.
They are a part of a pretty extensive SCAM network
